 Dear
non-Dutch speaking visitors. If you are wondering what the hell
is going on maybe I can give you some idea. First, a Lamme Aap
can be translated into english as a Lame Ape. This makes us the
Lame Apes. We are the Aapvaders [Apefathers] Gj & J and we
are the chiefs of the Lamme Apen Gemeen Schap [Lame Ape Community].
The real word for community in Dutch is gemeenschap. We use the
word Schap separately because it is common in many other Dutch
words [and because of other later to be explained reasons...].
For example the word friendship is vriendschap in Dutch. This
brings us to a better tranlation for Lamme apen Gemeen Schap:
the Lame Ape Common Ship.
The Lame Ape Ship...
We, the Apefathers
and the rest of the Lame Apes, our thoughts, our behaviours, our
publications, etcetera are part of our culture which is called
the Lamme Aap Schap [Lame Ape Ship].
Some history...
To clearify some
of the history of the Lame Ape Ship the story goes that in June
2002 the Heilige Lamme Aap [Holy Lame Ape] made it's first appearance
and contacted and contracted the Apefathers [then still Gj &
J] to spread the word of Lamheid [Lameness]. This day soon after
became known as the Dag des Oor [Ear's Day], the day the Lame
Ape Ship was called into existence.
The present...
At this moment
we, the Apefathers are reaching out to new potential Lame Apes,
also from countries outside the Netherlands. This is the reason
why we put this small english introduction. If you are interested
